Data Storytelling for Charities

If you work for a charity, data is the evidence you use to convince people that your activity has genuine impact.

Visual presentations of quantitative or qualitative data are proven to be more effective at engaging audiences than simple text or tables of numbers.

This course – run with the Directory for Social Change – is for anyone presenting data to the public, internal stakeholders or donors. It covers effective frameworks for planning and designing data communications, regardless of the software you have access to. It will give you the confidence and skills to present data effectively.

You’ll learn tried and tested techniques for creating engaging data communications for reports, slide decks, websites or social media. The course is fully interactive, and includes discussions, exercises and Q&A.
